German Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
Yummy German Chcocolate Sandwich Cookies.
What you will need :
Filling:
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
5oz. Can evaporated milk
1egg, slightly beaten
1 1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Combine all filling ingredients except coconut and pecans in 2quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.stir I coconut and pecans. Cover, refrigerate at least 1hour.
Heat oven to 350. Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and 3/4 cups sugar and 3/4 cup butter beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add milk, eggs and vanilla; continue beating until we'll mixed, Reducspeed to low; add flour, cocoa and baking soda. Beat until we'll mixed.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool completely.
Add filling between to cookies and EAT!

Finial step
You can measure how wide you need the waste band to be so you can run your elastic around.
Make sure you leave an opening to run your elastic though. With a safety pin on one end of your elastic run it around your skirt making sure not to let your elastic roll. When it comes out we're your started sew the end together and sew the opening closed.
Yea your got a cute simple skirt !
See in waste band
Do the same for the waste band as you did for the hem only make the first turn in narrow and the next turn wide for the elastic to fit in.
Next step waste band
Do a running stich around the top of your skirt with the linning and top fabric together. This will keep them in place so you can do the waste band.
